A: Our professional pet sitters and dog walkers offer a range of services including daily walks, feeding, administering medication, playtime, overnight stays, and basic training reinforcement. 

Q: Why should I hire a professional pet sitter or dog walker from AZ Tail Wag instead of asking a friend or neighbor?

A: Our professional pet sitters and dog walkers are trained, insured, and experienced in handling various pet behaviors and emergencies. They provide consistent, reliable care and have the expertise to ensure your pet's well-being and safety.

Q: How do I know if the pet sitter or dog walker is trustworthy?

A: At AZ Tail Wag, we thoroughly vet our providers, including background checks, written assessments and interviews. We are fully  insured and veteran owned to provide additional peace of mind.

Q. How can I check on my pets well being during services?

A. AZ Tail Wag utilizes an app called DoggyLogs to notify our clients upon our arrival, departure and to provide clients with updates about their pets during services. These updates include summaries of the visit, GPS routes of walks, photos, videos and any additional notes.

Clients are provided with specific contact information for their provider and we have a dedicated team available for any questions or concerns that may arise during services.

 

Q: How do I schedule services?

A: You can schedule services through our online booking system. Advance booking is recommended, especially during peak times like holidays. 

Q: Can I schedule a one-time service, or do I need to commit to a regular schedule?

A: We offer both one-time services and regular, recurring schedules to accommodate your needs. Whether you need occasional help or daily walks, we can customize our services to suit your preferences.

Q: What is the cancelation policy?

A: Any service canceled within 24 hours is non-refundable. Any service canceled outside 24 hours will result in a 50% service credit available for use 60 days from the date of cancelation.  Additional and specific terms will be provided during the booking process.

Q: Can I meet the pet sitter or dog walker before committing to services?

A: Yes, we offer a complimentary meet-and-greet session where you can meet the assigned pet sitter or dog walker. This allows you to ask questions, observe interactions with your pet, and discuss your pet's specific needs.

Q: What should I prepare for the meet-and-greet session?

A: Please prepare any necessary information about your pet's routine, behavior, medical conditions, and preferences. It’s also helpful to have your pet's supplies, such as leashes, food, and medications, ready for demonstration.

Q: How do you ensure the safety of my pet during walks or visits?

A: Our pet sitters and dog walkers follow strict safety protocols, including using secure leashes and harnesses, avoiding hazardous areas, and monitoring weather conditions.

Q: What if my pet has special needs or medical conditions?

A: We have experience caring for pets with special needs and medical conditions. During the meet-and-greet, we'll discuss your pet's requirements in detail to ensure they receive the appropriate care.

Q: How do you handle emergencies?

A: In case of an emergency, our sitters and walkers are trained to act quickly and efficiently. They will contact you immediately, take your pet to the nearest veterinarian if necessary, and provide appropriate care until the situation is resolved.

Q: How much do your services cost?

A: Our pricing varies based on the type and duration of service. We offer competitive rates and package deals for regular clients. Please contact us for a detailed price list or a personalized quote.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and online payment platforms. Payment details will be provided upon booking.

Q: Is there a deposit required?

A: The full amount for services is due at the time of booking. Recurring services may be billed at weekly, bi-weekly or monthly intervals. This will be discussed during the booking process.

Q: Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?

A: Additional fees may apply for services provided on holidays, for administering medications, or for handling special requests. All potential additional fees will be clearly outlined during the booking process.
